flood

Yesterday Houma was hit by a string of pretty heavy thunderstorms. Many streets in the city were completely under water and many houses were flooded. These were taken near the intersection of Levron Street and Tunnel Boulevard.

rain or shine

I assisted on a wedding this weekend for a fellow photographer. I had a great time and even got to ride in a carriage through the French Quarter for the first time ever. The weather was touch-and-go for a while so the bride kept peeking out of the window to see if the rain would slack off so her courtyard wedding could actually take place in the courtyard of the hotel.

after standing behind home plate photographing the pitcher's various range of odd pitching faces, i opted to attempt the "in focus baseball against the blurry pitcher with his leg up in the air" shot.
